Death without Suffering, an Advanced European Bioethics course, will run from the 5th to the 7th of April, 2001 in Nijmegen, the Netherlands. Subjects will include: Death and suffering in Western culture; Death and suffering: ethical perspectives; Suffering and the ideal of painlessness; Palliative care and euthanasia, and Ethical issues in pain management in hospice care.
