2021, Kidney International ReportsCitation Excerpt :Perceptions of transplant candidacy also affected PLE, with patients who thought they were on the transplant list significantly more likely to predict higher PLE. Our findings are in keeping with earlier research,2,5,6 but this is the first study outside of North America to replicate these results. We also found that patients who believed transplantation was an option for them were more likely to be younger and dialysing at certain hemodialysis centers.
